Hogback Mountain Loop
A medium-length ride over Hogback Mountain in Vermont. You should be able to make it in under two hours without stops, but there are a few stops that you’re going to want to make. Be prepared for some temperature drops as you ride up near 2,500 feet — it could be as much as 10° colder on the mountain peaks.

Directions: On US 7, heading north into Bennington, VT, turn right on VT 9, heading east. Follow VT 9 east to Hogback Mountain, where you can turn around and head back west. On VT 9 west, turn left on VT 100 heading south. Turn left on VT 8, heading south into Massachusetts. In North Adams, MA, turn left on MA 2 heading west. MA 2 will take you back to US 7 in Williamstown, MA.
Tips: In Whittingham, VT there is a turn to stay on VT 100, which is normally clearly marked. In case is isn’t: in Whittingham, turn right to stay on VT 100 heading south.
